So here I am after spending too much time obsessing over various blogs and not ever working up the courage to start my own. When I moved to Texas last June I had no friends, no job, and nothing to do. Fortunately the internet saved me. Whether it was searching for new recipes, or books to read, or deciding that I was now best friends with a complete stranger because we shared an obsession for crafting, or chocolate peanut butter baked goods. I always found that bloggers gave me inspiration or motivation to try new things or to live a healthier life (even though I'd rather die than give up baking). I don't intend to end up famous amongst the blogging world like some of my favorites that I follow but I think this is a great way of keeping in touch with friends and family. Who knows, maybe I'll even pick up a few creepers, like myself, who don't know me but still find me interesting? Doubtful, but maybe.

Stay tuned for awesome posts about the willowdog, more baking/dessert than any normal person could handle, accounts of various trips and adventures, and maybe a few awesome videos created by the boyfriend.

  1. So, I totally commented on this last night, and obbbviously, it didn't go through. And now it's going to sound dumb. I saiiid - "you rebel, messin with texas when everyone says NOT to." Ok, that's my comment. I'm really excited you have a blog now! I'm kinda obsessed. K, thanks, bye.
